Response to: Correspondence on ‘Stability of alglucosidase alfa in 0.9% sodium chloride for enzyme replacement therapy in patients with Pompe disease: insights from enzyme activity and cellular uptake measurements’ by Barzel et al
We thank Belančić and colleagues for their thoughtful and constructive comments on our recent publication on the stability of ready-to-administer alglucosidase alfa infusions. We appreciate the recognition of the clinical relevance of our findings and the opportunity to address the important points raised.

First and foremost, the authors express concerns regarding the application of real-world preparation and transport conditions before widespread implementation of our findings. However, as described in our study, the infusions were prepared under the standard conditions required for medication preparation in the hospital, consistent with the procedures routinely applied for the preparation of alglucosidase alfa infusions for our patients.
