[Paper] Fabrication and Driving Technology of Thick Film Liquid Crystal Devices Using Polymer Walls
In recent years, reflectarrays that reflect incident radio waves in arbitrary authdirections have become a promising technology for expanding the service range of 5G and communication standards. In this study, we propose a structure in which liquid crystal layers are divided by polymer walls, and the gap between the walls is adjusted. The results confirmed that the polymer walls can stabilize the liquid crystal alignment and the proposed structure is effective in accelerating the fall response of thick-film liquid crystals.
