Ten Years of ASNR: Radiopaedia Case of the Day
Radiopaedia.org is a free, collaborative online radiology resource that hosts an extensive library of imaging cases, reference articles, and educational materials. As part of its ongoing collaboration with the American Society of Neuroradiology (ASNR), select cases are featured annually as the Case of the Day at the ASNR Annual Meeting. This initiative serves as a platform to highlight exceptional cases spanning a broad spectrum of neuroradiological pathology, encompassing both common and rare entities that utilize a wide range of imaging modalities and techniques that draws on the expertise and contributions of radiologists around the world.Through meticulous case selection and featuring these cases, this collaboration has not only emphasized diagnostic acumen but has also promoted active global engagement and encouraged the exchange of knowledge across diverse practice environments. Reflecting on a decade of these cases provides an opportunity to recognize the breadth, quality, and educational value of the submitted cases of the ever-evolving field of radiology. Collectively, these cases demonstrate the value of open-access, collaborative platforms in fostering education, promoting critical thinking, and supporting the global radiology community. This retrospective review functions both as a celebration of this enduring partnership and as a reaffirmation of the shared educational mission that unites ASNR and Radiopaedia. The present report compiles ten distinguished cases originally submitted to Radiopaedia and subsequently selected for presentation at the ASNR Annual Meeting. Each case remains accessible through Radiopaedia.org via the provided URLs or corresponding QR codes.
