Sheaf Semantics in Elementary Topoi for Artificial General Intelligence Architectures: A Motivic Approach to Cognitive Stability
Mathematical Applications of Science Fiction We present a rigorous categorical framework for ArtificialGeneral Intelligence (AGI) architectures utilizing the internallogic of elementary topoi. By modeling the cognitive statespace as a Grothendieck topos E equipped with a Lawvere-Tierney topology j, we derive a condition for semantic con-sistency under recursive self-modification. We introduce thenotion of the Cognitive Sheaf C, an object in the derivedcategory Db(E), and analyze its stability using motivic ho-motopy theory and étale descent. The central contributionis the Sentience Stability Theorem, which establishes that aself-improving agent is isomorphic to a fixed point of a spe-cific endofunctor in the category of perfectoid spaces over thesynaptic site. We further demonstrate that the obstructionto "understanding" manifests as a non-vanishing class in thesecond motivic group H2 M(C, Q(2)). This formalism bridgesthe gap between abstract algebraic geometry and practicalneural architecture search.
