ي This research investigates the requirements for achieving intellectual security in universities from the perspective of faculty members, considering contemporary variables. The study's objectives included identifying academic, research, societal, administrative, and technological requirements, pinpointing obstacles, and proposing mechanisms for fostering intellectual security within the university community. Employing a descriptive analytical approach with a sample social survey method, the study surveyed 60 faculty members at Imam Abdul-Rahman Bin Faisal University. Results indicated that administrative and technological requirements were prioritized for achieving intellectual security, followed by academic, then research, and finally societal requirements. Key academic requirements involved instilling moral and religious values and fostering constructive dialogue. Research requirements emphasized scientific consultations and promoting studies on intellectual security. Societal needs highlighted organizing group trips and collaborating with experts to disseminate intellectual security culture. Administrative requirements included establishing mechanisms to prevent extremism and creating awareness units. Technological aspects underscored the dangers of website addiction and the importance of training students to source reliable information. No statistically significant differences were found in faculty members' views based on age or academic degree. Recommendations advocate for integrating intellectual security concepts into academic programs and research plans, prioritizing these issues in community service, partnering with third-sector organizations for awareness, incorporating intellectual security into academic guidance, organizing regular forums, and coordinating among academic, media, and relevant institutions.
