This study aims to analyze the logistics role of Qatari ports in enhancing competitiveness, focusing on Hamad Port during the period 2017-2024.The study adopts a descriptiveanalytical approach and a case study method.A field questionnaire was administered to a random sample of 50 participants from the port community, and the data were analyzed using SPSS, alongside a SWOT analysis to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats within the port's logistics structure. The findings indicate a strong positive impact of Hamad Port's developments on operational efficiency, reflected in containerhandling productivity exceeding global benchmarks (30 containers/hour) and a reduction in vessel waiting time to 12-24 hours. The results also show that lowering transport costs and shortening container transit time have strengthened the port's competitiveness and significantly contributed to attracting industrial investments within the economic zone, supported by improved service reliability and the advancement of tracking and digitalization systems. The study recommends transforming ports into integrated logistics platforms through a unified digital platform and the establishment of a smart logistics center of excellence, accelerating Gulf land and railway connectivity projects, and building a flexible and sustainable logistics ecosystem to enhance supply-chain security and ensure continuity of trade flows.
