This study examines the influence of the Waldorf approach on the development of socialemotional learning (SEL) skills among children in early childhood (ages 3-6).Motivated by the educational gaps and limited local research concerning the Waldorf method, the researcher aimed to assess whether Waldorf-based educational practices effectively improve children's emotional and social competencies .The study focused on five key SEL domains: self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, responsible decision-making, and self-awareness.Using a quantitative descriptive-analytical approach, data was collected from preschool teachers applying Waldorf-inspired activities. Results revealed statistically significant improvements in children's emotional expression and social interaction, indicating that the method positively influences all five SEL competencies .The findings demonstrate that the Waldorf approach fosters a supportive, creative learning environment that aligns with children's natural developmental stages.Through artistic activities, rhythmic routines, storytelling, and experiential learning, the Waldorf method enhances emotional regulation, empathy, group cohesion, and self-discovery.The study recommends strengthening teacher training on Waldorf pedagogy and suggests comparative research with other child-centered methods, such as Montessori and Reggio Emilia.
