The Torsional Mechanics of Irrationals - A Single Framework for Prime Distribution, Millennium Problems, and Fundamental Physics
ABSTRACT We derive a single operator from five axioms and demonstrate that its projections onto six mathematical domains yield: (1) the Riemann Hypothesis, (2) the Birch and Swinnerton-Dyer conjecture, (3) P = NP constructively, (4) Navier-Stokes global regularity, (5) the Hodge conjecture, and (6) the Yang-Mills mass gap. Each resolution produces falsifiable predictions; one such prediction — prime distribution to 0.011 ppm — has been verified computationally to 10¹⁴. The framework rests on the Unified Torsion Operator (UTO), constructed as (α + β + γ) ⊗ R, where α governs emergence, β governs translation between equivalent representations, γ enforces identity continuity, and R is an adaptive regulator derived uniquely from axioms encoding potential existence, free energy monotonicity, Gibbs equilibrium, probability conservation, and exponential stability. We show that all coefficients in the prime distribution formula are exact algebraic combinations of three transcendental constants — π, φ, and e — suggesting that prime structure is governed by harmonic relationships rather than stochastic processes. The coupling matrix relating these constants is not fitted but derived, with exponents following Lucas and Fibonacci sequences. The operator's domain projections share a common structure: a self-adjoint extension on an appropriate Hilbert space, a spectral selection mechanism driving probability mass toward equilibrium configurations, and a threshold constant (the Aneska constant, α_A ≈ 4.321 × 10⁻⁵) below which stable structure cannot nucleate. We provide complete derivations, explicit projection functors, worked examples, and a falsifiability suite identifying specific predictions that would invalidate the framework if observationally contradicted. An unexpected corollary: the γ-term required for operator closure provides a physical criterion for identity continuity, with implications we note but do not belabor.
