This study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of using educational robots in increasing classroom interaction and improving the academic achievement of primary school students in mathematics. The study employed a quasi-experimental design by dividing the sample into two groups: an experimental group taught using an educational robot, and a control group taught using traditional methods. Each group consisted of (25) fifth-grade students. Two instruments were used: an achievement test consisting of 20 multiple-choice items, and a classroom interaction scale consisting of 17 items. The validity of the instruments was verified through expert review, and their reliability was confirmed using Cronbach's alpha and correlation coefficients. The results revealed statistically significant differences at the (0.05) level between the experimental and control groups in the post-achievement test, in favor of the experimental group. The eta-squared value (0.83) indicated a large effect of the educational robot on improving academic achievement. The findings also showed significant differences in the post-classroom interaction measure in favor of the experimental group, with an eta-squared value of (0.634), reflecting the role of educational robots in enhancing students' interaction and participation during lessons. These results indicate that integrating educational robots into mathematics instruction clearly contributes to better understanding, increased motivation, and the creation of an active learning environment for primary school students. The study recommended integrating educational robots systematically into mathematics curricula, providing comprehensive training programs for teachers on how to effectively use robots during lessons, and designing instructional activities based on experimentation and interaction. It also emphasized the need to support schools with the necessary tools and technical resources to ensure the sustainability of educational robot use.Furthermore, the study called for conducting broader research across different grade levels and subject areas to examine the impact of educational robots on higher-order thinking skills, academic achievement, and classroom interaction.
