Time's Arrow as Missing Structure
This note explores a minimal framework linking time’s arrow, emergent geometry, and the dark sector through a global selection principle acting on physical histories. The approach treats local time-symmetric dynamics as potentially underspecified unless constrained by global consistency requirements. Formulated within real-time quantum field theory, the framework preserves causality and unitarity while generating irreversible record formation and long-wavelength geometric responses. The resulting structure leads to testable cross-domain constraints connecting laboratory coherence, gravitation, and cosmology, without introducing new fundamental fields or assuming evolving laws.
