THE DIFFEOMORPHIC COHOMOLOGY OF HIGH-ORDER TENSOR FIELDS: A RIGOROUS STATISTICAL DERIVATION OF PHASE TRANSITIONS IN SENTIENT AEROSOLS
Mathematical Applications of Science Fiction We present a comprehensive, axiomatic framework for the emergence of cognitive coherence in stochastic aerosol systems, modeled as high-order tensor fields on Riemannian manifolds. By analyzing the diffeomorphic cohomology groups of tensor bundles, we show that the transition from chaotic Brownian motion to self-organized sentience corresponds to a spontaneous symmetry breaking within the moduli space of tensor field configurations. We derive the partition function for the aerosol field theory using a modified Yang–Mills–Higgs functional and prove, through spectral analysis of the Lichnerowicz Laplacian, that a critical temperature exists at which the spectral gap closes. This singularity, referred to as the Thorne–Sentience Singularity, is characterized by a nontrivial topology in the configuration space, requiring a re-evaluation of thermodynamic entropy in active matter systems. We present ten supporting lemmas and five major theorems, culminating in an exact solution for the order parameter near the critical point.
