Anomalous Dimensional Translocation of Fredholm Invariants in Twisted Bivariant K-Theory: Spectral Flow Obstructions across Stratified Hierarchies of Non-Commutative C*-Algebras
Mathematical Applications of Science Fiction We present a rigorous derivation of the anomalous dimensional translocation phenomenon observed in thespectral flow of Fredholm operators associated with twisted bivariant K-theory groups KKσ (A, B). Byconstructing a stratified hierarchy of non-commutative C∗-algebras endowed with a generalized Dixmiertrace, we identify a class of cohomological obstructions that prevent the standard homotopy invariance of theindex. We prove that these obstructions manifest as "ghost" dimensions—transient topological phases thatexist only during the translocation of the Fredholm invariant across the strata. We utilize the machineryof Kasparov products, cyclic cohomology, and hypoelliptic operator theory to establish a generalized IndexTheorem for these stratified spaces. The results have profound implications for the stability of D-branecharges in high-energy theoretical physics and the classification of topological phases in disordered quantummatter.
