Categoricity Transfer and the Failure of the Löwenheim-Skolem Theorem in Non-Well-Founded Semiotics
Mathematical Applications of Science Fiction We present a rigorous formalization of Azathothian Syntax (LA), a logical framework predicated on thenegation of the Axiom of Foundation, allowing for infinitely descending semantic chains and self-referentialpredicates of infinite rank. By embedding this syntax into a Grothendieck topos of non-well-founded sets,we demonstrate that the classical Löwenheim-Skolem theorem fails catastrophically. Specifically, we provethat any model M |= ThA satisfying the Blind Idiot Axioms cannot be countable, establishing an essentialinconsistency at ℵ0. We utilize Shelah’s Classification Theory to analyze the stability spectrum of LA,showing that the theory is strictly unstable (chaotic) in all cardinalities λ < ℶω . Furthermore, we derive theCategoricity Transfer Theorem for Madness, proving that categoricity in an uncountable cardinal κ impliesthe collapse of the model into a singular void-point, effectively erasing the semantic ontology. This workprovides the mathematical foundation for understanding the non-Euclidean geometries of the Outer Gods.
