This study aims to clarify the role of digital governance in enhancing integrity and combating corruption in government institutions by defining the concept of digital governance and its relationship to both corruption and integrity, and by reviewing its standards, implementation requirements, and activation steps in the public sector. The study adopts a descriptive-analytical approach through a review of relevant Arabic and international literature and previous studies. The findings indicate that the adoption of digital governance systems contributes to reducing traditional paper-based and manual procedures and limiting human intervention in financial and administrative transactions, which in turn reduces opportunities for bribery, embezzlement, and misuse of public funds, while enhancing transparency and the traceability of government operations and their oversight. The results also show that digital governance provides advanced monitoring and auditing mechanisms, consolidates a culture of accountability, and strengthens citizens' trust in government bodies by facilitating access to information and electronic services. The study concludes that the success of digital governance in combating corruption requires a developed digital infrastructure, a clear legislative and regulatory framework, and effective public-private partnerships, in addition to investing in digital capacity-building and promoting societal awareness of the importance of the prudent use of technology in the governance of public services.
