Synthesis of Uracil Containing Oxazolidinone Derivatives by Using Uracil-BX and NaHCO 3 as a Solid Surrogate of CO 2
We report a straightforward Pd(II)-catalyzed three-component strategy for the synthesis of uracil-oxazolidinone hybrids, wherein NaHCO3 acts as a solid CO2 surrogate and the newly developed hypervalent iodine reagent Uracil-BX enables efficient construction of structurally diverse, medicinally relevant scaffolds under mild conditions. This method opens the door to access to uracil-oxazolidinone hybrids bearing a tetra-substituted alkene in good yield and very high <i>E-</i>stereoselectivity.
