Intracapsular Tonsillectomy and Adenoidectomy Is Associated With Higher Rates of Postoperative Fever: Prospective Cohort Study
PITA was associated with higher rates of fever 1-week postoperatively. Parents should be informed about the possibility of fever and educated on how to manage it.
