Root Canal Therapy of a Maxillary Second Molar with Two Palatal Canals

The successful completion of endodontic procedures depends on a thorough understanding of root canal (RC) anatomy.Anatomical discrepancies in canal number and structure, especially among maxillary molars, have an essential effect on the outcome of treatment, even though they are rather uncommon. The endodontic procedure of a maxillary second molar that had an atypical morphological pattern in the palatal root is reviewed in this case report.
