A first-principles study of RuClF/AlN van der Waals heterostructure for potential use as anode for lithium-ion batteries
The RuClF/AlN vdWH shows a moderate Li-diffusion barrier of 0.33 eV, enabling fast ion transport and charge–discharge kinetics, and delivers a high theoretical capacity of ∼564.29 mAh g −1 , outperforming many 2D anodes.
