Ascher ring associated with peripheral deep stromal opacities: A case report

After conducting a literature review on August 11, 2025, utilizing PubMed, Google Scholar, and Scopus with the keywords "Ascher ring," "corneal opacity," and "stromal ring," we did not find prior reports describing dotted and filiform peripheral deep stromal opacities associated with Ascher ring. These findings may represent an underrecognized manifestation of this entity. Given the concomitant diagnosis of Sjögren's syndrome, further investigation into possible associations between this corneal finding and autoimmune conditions is warranted.
