First person – Chaitali Khan

ABSTRACT First Person is a series of interviews with the first authors of a selection of papers published in Disease Models & Mechanisms, helping researchers promote themselves alongside their papers. Chaitali Khan is first author on ‘ Allograft transplantation for Drosophila tumor metastasis studies’, published in DMM. Chaitali is a postdoctoral fellow in the lab of Nasser M. Rusan at National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute, Bethesda, MD, USA, investigating the fundamental molecular and cellular mechanisms governing the tumour–host interactions that facilitate cancer metastasis to distant organs.
