Influence of applying some macro and micro nutrients on seed yield and its quality traits in squash (Cucurbita pepo L.) plants
A field experimental was conducted over the course of the two consecutive summer seasons of 2021 and 2022 at Kaha Research Agriculture Research Center (ARC), Horticultural Research Institute (HRI), Farm the department of Vegetables, Qalubia Governorate, Egypt, to research the influence of minerals with bio-phosphor fertilization and a foliar spray using different concentration of zinc to increase the flowering characters, yield of seeds and its quality traits for (Cucurbita pepo L.) Eskandarani. This experiment included four phosphor fertilizers treatments as soil addition and three concentration of zinc as foliar spray treatments. This experiment used a design with split plots and three a repetition, a zinc foliar spraying be randomly distributed in the subplots and the phosphate fertilizer treatments dispensed in the main plots. According to results, squash plants were treated with the100% of recommended calcium super phosphate fertilizer and phosphate solubilizing bacteria with foliar spray of zinc at concentration 200 ppm; added in two times during the growing season, the first dose during the preparation of the land and the second dose during the flowering stage in addition to misting plants using zinc foliar extract To achieve good earliness and better seed output features with excellent standard, a concentration of 200 ppm was advised.
