This study seeks to explore the role of Egyptian drama in shaping public awareness of childhood issues, within the framework of the State's 2030 Development Plan and its strategic objectives for sustainable development.Based on the Agenda-Setting Theory, the study focused on analyzing how Egyptian drama addresses childhood concerns and to what extent this representation influences the prioritization of such issues among the Egyptian public. The descriptive-analytical method was adopted, employing a questionnaire distributed to a sample of Egyptian viewers selected through simple random sampling, in order to ensure adequate representation of diverse social segments. The findings revealed that childhood issues still receive relatively limited attention compared to other social concerns commonly presented in drama. However, their repeated portrayal was found to enhance their ranking on the public agenda. Moreover, the nature of dramatic treatment and the artistic style employed directly influenced audience perceptions and attitudes. The study recommends greater attention to childhood issues in dramatic works, with deeper and more realistic approaches consistent with the sustainable development goals of Egypt's Vision 2030.
