First person – Ronan Smith and Nicole Reyne

ABSTRACT First Person is a series of interviews with the first authors of a selection of papers published in Disease Models & Mechanisms, helping researchers promote themselves alongside their papers. Ronan Smith and Nicole Reyne are co-first authors on ‘ Mapping lung cancer ventilation dynamics using functional imaging and lung mechanics’, published in DMM. Ronan is a postdoc in the lab of Professor Martin Donnelley at University of Adelaide, Adelaide, Australia, investigating novel methods and applications of X-ray imaging. Nicole is a postdoctoral researcher in the same lab, investigating preclinical models of lung diseases.
