A Physical Origin of Gravity: G = η / c from Time-Medium Consumption Dynamics

This work presents a novel physical origin of Newton’s gravitational constant, showing that G arises from the time-medium consumption rate \eta scaled by the invariant speed of light, G = \eta / c. Within the Physical Time Medium (PTM) framework, gravity is derived as a consequence of mass continuously consuming the density of time, creating curvature as a real physical gradient. This derivation links gravitational dynamics directly to cosmological and quantum scales and demonstrates a unified scaling behavior without free parameters.

Abstract

This work presents a novel physical origin of Newton’s gravitational constant, showing that G arises from the time-medium consumption rate \eta scaled by the invariant speed of light, G = \eta / c. Within the Physical Time Medium (PTM) framework, gravity is derived as a consequence of mass continuously consuming the density of time, creating curvature as a real physical gradient. This derivation links gravitational dynamics directly to cosmological and quantum scales and demonstrates a unified scaling behavior without free parameters.
