Endaural phonoelectrophoresis with dexamethasone in the treatment of Meniere’s disease

The results of endaural phonoelectrophoresis with dexamethasone in 63 patients with Meniere's disease are presented. Significant and satisfactory clinical effect was achieved in 76% of cases (38% in each group). The greatest therapeutic effect is predicted during the first 5 years of the disease, as well as with I and II degrees of hearing loss, a greater number of physiotherapeutic procedures (optimally 7-10). In case of achieving a decrease in hearing thresholds in dynamics, as well as a decrease in the resonant frequency of the middle ear, the effect of the therapy is maintained for at least 3 months.
