Impact of Smart Classrooms on University Student Achievements During and Post COVID-19

The COVID-19 pandemic has had a profound impact on higher education, accelerating the adoption of smart classroom technologies. This study investigates the impact of smart classrooms on student achievements at universities during and after the COVID-19 pandemic. The paper provides a comprehensive survey of the effect of smart classrooms on student achievements at the university level, both during and post-pandemic. The research examines how the integration of advanced technologies in educational settings influenced academic performance, engagement, and overall learning experiences. It examines how digital platforms, blended learning, and online collaboration tools have influenced academic performance, engagement, and retention rates. Data was collected from a sample of students enrolled in courses taught in traditional and smart classrooms. Data were also collected through surveys, interviews, and academic performance records from multiple universities. Key findings from the survey revealed that the majority of students (75%) reported an improvement in their academic performance due to the adoption of smart classroom technologies. Factors contributing to this improvement included the ability to access materials online at any time (80%) and the use of interactive tools that facilitated better understanding of course content (70%). The survey also explores the role of adaptive learning technologies, learning management systems, and the challenges faced in integrating these technologies. It concludes by providing insights into the long-term implications for higher education. The findings suggest that smart classrooms significantly enhanced student achievements, particularly during the pandemic, by providing flexible and interactive learning environments.
