Complete Genome Sequence of Telluria sp. Strain 100-57A, an Aphid-Suppressive Rhizosphere Bacterium from Pepper

Members of the genus Telluria are Gram-negative, aerobic, motile, and non-spore-forming rod-shaped bacteria belonging to the family Oxalobacteraceae. They are typically isolated from terrestrial and agricultural soils, including plant-associated environments, and exhibit metabolic traits characteristic of heterotrophic soil bacteria [1,2].Members of this genus are catalase-and oxidase-positive and are capable of utilizing diverse carbon sources, reflecting broad heterotrophic versatility typical of soil-inhabiting bacteria.Genome-based analyses of the type strains have revealed genes potentially involved in nutrient cycling and degradation of organic compounds, suggesting ecological adaptability within rhizosphere and bulk-soil environments [3].To complement existing genomic data for this genus, we report here the complete genome sequence of Telluria sp.strain
