Radioimmunotherapy combined with antibody–drug conjugate-induced radiosensitization leads to long-term remission of mycosis fungoides

We evaluated a combination of brentuximab vedotin and ultra-hypofractionated low-dose total skin electron beam therapy in 14 patients with tumour-stage mycosis fungoides (MF). The overall response rate was 100%, with 64% of patients achieving complete remission; treatment was well tolerated, with limited toxicity. Translational analyses indicated synergistic activity, evidenced by increased CD30 expression and tumour cell death, supporting this approach as a promising treatment option for MF.
