Late-Time Structure Growth and the S8 Parameter in the Scalar Temporal Field Ontology
This preprint derives the late-time linear growth equations of the Scalar Temporal Field Ontology (STFO), a covariant framework in which time is modeled as a dynamical scalar field. Temporal field perturbations are shown to induce a mild, redshift-dependent suppression of matter growth without altering early-universe physics. The resulting prediction for the clustering parameter S₈ lies within the range favored by weak gravitational lensing surveys while remaining consistent with cosmic microwave background and baryon acoustic oscillation constraints. This work establishes STFO as a unified framework capable of addressing late-time structure-growth discrepancies through first-principles temporal dynamics.
