The article is devoted to the problem of protecting historical truth and preserving historical memory, which is of great importance due to the growing geopolitical challenges currently facing the Russian state. Special attention is paid to finding and implementing effective means of combating the distortion of historical events, which ensure the protection of state sovereignty and national security from internal and external threats.
