Intuitive Understanding of Light and a Reinterpretation of the Electromagnetic Wave Concept\\ --- Focusing on Candlelight ---
This paper reorganizes the relationship between intuitive understanding and theoretical physics in the comprehension of light, using the example of a candle flame to examine the effectiveness of intuitive grasp of light phenomena. It presents a perspective in which light is regarded as a phenomenon arising from the motion of electrons and matter, space is treated as a background, and the electromagnetic field is used as a theoretical tool. From an educational standpoint, this approach allows learners to respect their intuition while bridging it with theoretical understanding. Furthermore, future work is expected to develop an integrated educational model that combines intuition and theory by exploring more diverse light sources and phenomena.
