423P Decoding the cellular architecture of pediatric Hodgkin lymphoma to reveal novel treatment targets
Pediatric Hodgkin lymphoma (HL) accounts for ∼40% of all childhood lymphomas. Classical HL (cHL) comprises roughly 95% of all HL cases, with cure rates exceeding 90% with combined chemo- and radiotherapy. Acute and especially long-term treatment-related toxicities remain a major threat for the health of pediatric HL survivors. The development of more targeted treatments is an urgent medical need but has been challenging due to the scarcity of malignant cells, known as Hodgkin Reed-Sternberg (HRS) cells and their strong dependence on the tumor microenvironment (TME).
