Corrigendum to “One-hour plasma glucose concentration identify subjects at high risk for future type 2 diabetes based on β-cell function”. [Diabetes Res, Clin. Pract. 230 (2025) 112960]

The authors regret that Section 2.4 incorrectly states that "Severe -cell dysfunction was defined as a DI below the 50th percentile of this reference population (DI < 48.50).The use of the 50th percentile of DI as the diagnostic cut-off has been validated in several studies [15,23,24]."In fact, the cut-off (DI < 48.5) represents 50 % of the reference median value (96.99), not the 50th percentile. The corrected sentence reads:"Severe -cell dysfunction was defined as a DI below 50 % of the median DI of this reference population (DI < 48.5; median DI = 96.99).Several studies have confirmed the DI as a valid composite measure for assessing -cell function [15,23,24]."All calculations were performed with DI < 48.5, so results, tables, figures and conclusions remain unchanged.
