353P FGF2-high CAFs regulate immunosuppression in non-small cell lung cancer via NUPR1 in tumor-associated macrophages
Non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) remains a major cause of cancer mortality worldwide. Despite advances in immunotherapy, treatment resistance persists due to unclear mechanisms.Cancer-associated fibroblasts (CAFs) are key components of the tumor microenvironment with diverse functions in matrix remodeling, angiogenesis, and immune regulation. CAF heterogeneity enables both pro- and anti-tumor roles, with recent single-cell studies revealing new subtypes across cancers.Fibroblast growth factor 2 (FGF2) is a multifunctional cytokine involved in immune modulation and TME remodeling.
