376P Live cell imaging for ex vivo immune checkpoint inhibitor screening
Immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) have revolutionised cancer treatment by harnessing the patient’s immune system to achieve durable responses in advanced malignancies. However, clinical benefit is limited to approximately 20-40% of patients due to high rates of resistance. Molecular mechanisms underlying resistance are multifaceted and evolve to facilitate metastasis, and established biomarkers - including tumour mutational burden and PD-L1 expression - fail to robustly stratify patients, impeding development of personalised treatment strategies.
