Perioperative Blood Product Transfusions in Gastric Cancer Surgery in Finland
Anaemia is common among patients undergoing gastric cancer surgery. We encourage clinicians to follow restrictive transfusion policies in gastric cancer patients as Hb levels seem to recover after gastric surgery without blood transfusions.
