210eP Checkpoint inhibitor toxicities: Inpatient management with an immunotherapy service
Results: Pooled EFS demonstrated significant improvement with PD-(L)1 blockade plus chemotherapy (HR 0.76, 95% CI 0.66-0.87,I 2 =0%).pCR rates were markedly increased (RR 3.25,, translating into an absolute pCR gain of 11.7% (number needed to treat 9).In the FLOT-only subgroup (MATTERHORN + KEYNOTE-585 FLOT cohort), pooled EFS HR was 0.79 (95% CI 0.67-0.92).Safety was comparable between experimental and control arms across both trials. Conclusions: Perioperative PD-(L)1 blockade combined with chemotherapy improves EFS and pCR without major toxicity increases and should be considered a new standard of care.
