102P CD4+ CAR-T cells induceimmunogenic cell death through noncanonical extracellular vesicle

Recently, CD4+ chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cells have emerged to play a pivotal role in CAR-T therapy. Besides the well acknowledged helper functions, it has been recognized that CD4+ CAR-T cells also possess direct target killing capacity. However, the unique killing mechanism specific for CD4+ CAR-T cells and their contribution to the efficacy of CAR-T therapy has not been thoroughly understood.

Abstract

Recently, CD4+ chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cells have emerged to play a pivotal role in CAR-T therapy. Besides the well acknowledged helper functions, it has been recognized that CD4+ CAR-T cells also possess direct target killing capacity. However, the unique killing mechanism specific for CD4+ CAR-T cells and their contribution to the efficacy of CAR-T therapy has not been thoroughly understood.
