Front Cover: Spectral Peaked Optical Frequency Comb for Highly Sensitive Spectroscopy (Adv. Photonics Res. 1/2026)
Optical Frequency Combs Optical frequency combs represent a breakthrough in metrology, and comb mode selection and power scaling are important issues for highly sensitive spectroscopy. This article by Nishizawa and co-workers (10.1002/adpr.202500022) reviews the development of a spectrally peaked optical frequency comb using the novel phenomenon of spectral peaking for highly sensitive spectroscopy. The physical mechanisms and fundamental characteristics of spectral peaking and related technologies are discussed.
