In Her Own Words: A “Conversation” with Gwendolyn Koldofsky

Abstract: Pianist and vocal coach Gwendolyn Koldofsky holds enormous importance in the collaborative piano and vocal music worlds. Despite this, relatively little scholarship has been devoted to her life and legacy. As a complement to a recent publication, what follows is an imagined interview with Koldofsky, reassembling her reponses from various interviews conducted in the last decades of her long life for a fresh conversation with this legend and hero of the profession.
