Objective sleep quality and MRI biomarkers of Alzheimer's Disease in a diverse cohort of older adults
Nighttime sleep duration>8 hours and poor sleep quality, including longer TIB, WASO, and awakening length, were associated with worse AD-related MRI patterns among diverse community-dwelling older adults. Future longitudinal studies are warranted to validate the pathophysiological mechanisms underlying those sleep-AD associations.
