Self-Organized Near-Criticality as a Dynamical Resolution of the Higgs–Planck Hierarchy
We propose that the electroweak scale emerges as a self-organized near-critical state of a feedback loop between the Higgs order parameter and a slow control variable. In the presence of UV-sized corrections to the Higgs mass parameter, the system evolves toward an attractor where the effective Higgs mass-squared is pinned close to criticality, with the residual hierarchy set by an infrared (IR) ratio of rates rather than by cancellations of UV contributions. We provide a minimal implementa-tion, derive an analytic attractor solution, and outline realizations that avoid stringent constraints on light Higgs-mixed scalars while retaining testable Higgs-line-shape effects.
