Research on scanning magnetic field imaging system for rechargeable batteries

The non-destructive testing of rechargeable batteries is of great significance in fields such as electric vehicles and aerospace. The detection technology based on magnetic field measurement has the characteristics of non-invasiveness, high sensitivity, and high resolution, and is a highly promising non-destructive testing technology for batteries. However, the quantitative relationship between magnetic field and battery state is not yet clear, and large-scale experiments are needed to explore it. We have designed a scanning magnetic field imaging system that can be applied to magnetic shielding rooms. The system is driven by linear motors and can achieve the movement of the battery sample in three-dimensional space for magnetic field measurement, while reducing the magnetic interference generated by the motor and other metal components. At present, the system can achieve magnetic field scanning of batteries within a range of 1cm*1cm*1cm in three-dimensional space with a step size of 1mm, which can improve the efficiency of magnetic field measurement and achieve automated measurement. By optimizing the experimental setup, it is expected to further reduce magnetic interference, improve the accuracy of experimental results, and assist in the research of magnetic field diagnosis technology for rechargeable batteries.
