Nurses need to talk about health justice

Health justice is the framework and process for the elimination of health inequity and social injustice. Health justice must be a community-led movement aimed at destabilizing the currently perpetuated systems of power imbalances between decision-makers, legislators, and communities. Health justice is not a new concept, but it may be relatively new to nurses. This article explores the health justice framework along with an evidence-based example, and the role of nurses in promoting health justice for all.
