Study of stator fluid-solid coupled heat transfer under water channel blockage failure in million-kilowatt turbo-generator
When calculating the temperature of the stator winding of million-kilowatt turbo-generator under water channel blockage failure, the actual stator transposition structure is often overlooked, which can lead to a difference between the calculated temperature of stator winding and the actual temperature of stator winding. This paper takes a million-kilowatt turbo-generator as the research object and compares the temperatures of the non-simplified model considering the actual transposition structure with the simplified model without considering the actual transposition structure. First, both a non-simplified fluid-solid coupled heat transfer model of stator considering the actual transposition structures and a simplified fluid-solid coupled heat transfer model of stator without considering actual transposition structures are established. Second, the non-simplified model is compared with the simplified model under water channel blockage failure. Finally, the temperature of the non-simplified model under the rated working condition is verified by experimental values. The results show that, under the same heat source, the location and value of the maximum temperature in the stator windings differ between the simplified and non-simplified models.
