Inductance calculation of magnetic valve reactor based on the enhanced TREE method

In this paper, an accurate computational model of a magnetic valve reactor is developed based on the enhanced truncated domain eigenfunction expansion (E-TREE) method. Compared with the traditional TREE method, a one-dimensional finite element method (1D-FEM) is introduced in this paper, which avoids complicated function expansion and integration operations when dealing with multidomain problems including air region and core region with different relative permeabilities, and significantly improves the computational efficiency and modeling simplicity. Meanwhile, a generalized source function applicable to the multi-coil arrangement structure is derived in this paper, which further enhances the generality and adaptability of the model. By comparing with the simulation results, it is verified that the computational error of the proposed method is controlled within 1% under typical structures, and the validity and accuracy of the computational model are fully verified.
