Highly-dispersed ZrO <i>x</i> modulates C–O bond activation for boosting CO 2 hydrogenation to higher alcohols
This work reports an efficient strategy for modulating C-O bond activation during CO2 hydrogenation to C2+OH over the Zr-KCuFe catalyst, achieving a space-time yield of 96.7 mg g-1 h-1 at 320 °C. A small amount of highly-dispersed ZrO<i>x</i> promotes non-dissociative activation of CO, driving C2+OH synthesis with 1.54 times higher activity than unpromoted KCuFe.
