Algorithm-Mediated Attitude Repair in High-Visibility Social Disclosure: A State-Based Naturalistic Extension Case
This document reports a single naturalistic social media event involving public sexual identity disclosure on a large-scale platform. The case is analysed as an interaction trace within a state-based inference framework, focusing on temporal dynamics, author response strategies, and observed audience reactions over a 24-hour window. The paper highlights how non-adversarial, minimal engagement by the author coincided with sustained supportive clustering and instances of spontaneous attitude repair, despite high visibility and emotional salience. The case is presented as an illustrative extension rather than a standalone validation, contributing to boundary-aware discussion of human–algorithm interaction and online discourse dynamics. This paper is part of an ongoing research program on state-based inference systems. It should be read as an illustrative naturalistic extension to the methodological framework presented in the related anchor paper, rather than as a standalone validation study.
