A borax crosslinked hydrogel of 2-methyl-2-propene-1-sulphonate grafted onto guar gum for removing cationic dyes and Cr 6+ ions
Efficient removal of cationic dyes (crystal violet and methylene blue) and Cr 6+ ions from sample solutions by a borax crosslinked hydrogel of guar gum grafted with 2-methyl-2-propene-1-sulphonate by free radical polymerization has been accomplished.
