Bracing in adult scoliosis: a scoping review of clinical outcomes
The purpose of this scoping review is to systematically map and synthesize the existing literature regarding the use of bracing as a conservative treatment for adult scoliosis. This study aims to identify the types of spinal orthoses utilized in the adult population, evaluate their impact on clinical outcomes—such as pain management, curve progression, and quality of life—and highlight significant gaps in current research to inform future clinical practice and high-quality studies.
